School trip

Up at 6 am, my first meeting was at 7 am till 8.30 am then drove back home to meet Ben at school, ( He slept at a friends last night, as I was leaving do early )
I was helping on a school trip, we went to The Hat Museum in Stockport, which was producing millions of hats in its hay day, sadly not any more.
The children all designed and produced a hat. Ben's was a Rhino with a fly on its tongue.
Whilst I was there I received a fabulous phone call from the headmaster of Liverpool College telling me that he was offering Ben a place.. Some tears later...., this whole school process has been a major stress for 10 months, very unsettling for Ben, he finally has a school he wanted to go to.
We are all very proud of Ben, over 35 applicants for 15 places. He shone at his interview.
