This Old Man

Here is the Old Man of Coniston photographed by an Old Man of Arnside. Apologies if I have used that joke before.
The summit must be about 14 miles as the crow flies from where I was standing on the edge of the estuary at Sandside. This says something about the remarkable power of modern zoom lenses.

The Extra today is a photo of Arnside. As I never stop singing its praises I thought fellow blippers might like to see it. The Knott is in the background.
I thought of putting a ring round our house but just in case any burglars have joined Blip to collect information, perhaps better not.
