Exotic with freckles

This humble little hellebore turned out rather exotic when I blipped it today.  I'm not sure how appropriate that is, given its almost weed-like status in my garden, but I was quite pleased with the image.  Perhaps I should have kept the idea for Friday, but I don't think there's going to be much sun then and anyway I'm up to other things then.  So here it is for today.

I am well aware I haven't yet commented for yesterday.  As soon as I've got the supper on, that's what I'll be doing.  Very sorry for all my sins of omission!
