Sea and sun

A lovely sunny day today . . . and so calm after the gales.

This morning we went by train from Alnmouth to Newcastle. Gordon went to the Gym and I went to a lecture, where we are reading The Iliad. I’m not sure who was the most exercised!
 
Back on the train and down to the sea at Alnmouth. We walked a long way by the waves in the sunshine – just perfect.
    
So, this is simply a celebration of walking by the sea in the sunshine.
