Got home at 4:30am after some heavy rain during the night. The 3s were all very good during the trip so no real problems, just the usual endless stream of motorway service stations and overpriced diesel (it's about 25% cheaper in France than here at the moment; we were paying about ?1.35/L).

After grabbing some sleep and unpacking the car (and in the process creating the world's largest pile of washing) I managed to tidy up the garden and cut the grass. That's when I noticed these caterpillars have literally stripped my gooseberry bush to sticks. F***ers. Anyone know what these turn into?
