Today was mental health day at work
Trying to remove the stigma that comes with mental health problems...that people don't understand and expect you to just snap out of it and get on
This is something close to my heart! I have experienced mental health problems and the views of other people that can really cut deep! Thankfully with therapy and some amazing friends I got through my troubles! And know how to manage myself, my life and my health and stay happy! I have only felt as though I have actually been living this past year or so after living with my problems for so long. And it feels amazing!
Still got a way to go but I'm certainly heading towards happy!
And I'll help anyone else who wants to get there with me!
It's surprising how much someone asking if you fancy a coffee or asking how you are doing and meaning it...and being willing to listen...really helps!
