Day 035/16. Fast, but I have been faster.....

Commercial jet aircraft fly at an airspeed of around 550 Miles Per Hour. Obviously if there is a head wind it slows you down relative to the ground, if there is a tailwind it speeds you along.....
Last night on the trans-Atlantic flight back from Florida the Boeing 777 were were in was pushed along by a 170 miles per hour tailwind (slap bang in the midde of the jetstream). Nature again showing its power.
That gave us an impressive 550 + 170 = 720 miles per hour over the North Atlantic and that knocked over an hour off the flight time.
Fast, but I have been faster .....  :)
