Fellow blipper, Peter May, took part in a conversation with two other Scottish crime writers in Barcelona this evening. He spoke naturally and entertainingly about his work and the emergence of Scottish writers in his genre in the last 15 years or so.

Peter spotted me through the floodlit haze just before the start and we had time for a very quick hello and handshake over the edge of the stage at the end. A lovely, unexpected surprise was to meet Janice for a wee catch up on my way out.
