All alone
At lunchtime we went up to Poyntzfield to see the snowdrops and Winter aconites. It was a cloudy day so most of the flowers were keeping tightly closed except for this little one that had found a home on the compost heap. We will go back on a sunny day as there was a nice carpet of white and yellow. There were plenty of birds singing in the bushes and trees but they were hiding too.
A little dog who has been there for years came over and said hello. I managed to take a quick photo before it came too close as it's paws were covered in mud and I did nt want dirty trousers.
When I was a Brownie we had to dress up as a Spring Flower. My Mum made me a snowdrop outfit, I'm 2nd from the right in the bottom row in the extra photo.
