You are probably sounding out:

"Myu", like at the start of a cat Meow then "uice" as in juice. That's how I said it first time and was corrected immediately to say MUCKY as in adjective preceding labrador after a walk in bogland.

Ironically this water runs crystal clear and has its source in some very wonderful wildeness.
