Sunset at Cheticamp!

Fitting image because Terry and I drove over to Cheticamp to deliver pottery to the Sunset Gallery over there!

We headed out mid afternoon, and meandered our way over there. It's about 1 hour 20 minutes or so there....we stopped at a place where you can fish for trout! We weren't interested in fishing - Terry is interested in stocking the pond with trout! But noone was around for him to chat to. We did see loads of fish in many ponds, some were very impressive!

After dropping off the pots at the gallery, we headed for a walk on a beach. Turns out open toed sandals are really inappropriate footwear on a beach mostly made up of stones and course sand! i was pretty pissed off cos it was just too uncomfortable to go too far! So we went for dinner in a great little place where the seafood is good and fresh!

On our way out of Cheticamp, we stopped at a different and lovely beach, the sand was wet and hard and it was a wonderful walk. As we drove along the highway, this spectacular sunset was happening!

Lovely to have a day just the two of us, wandering at will!
