Portage

The title of the blip does not relate to Portage the educational programme but Portage which is a carrying system over a river,   The dictionary definition: "carrying of boats or goods between two navigable waters."   This is a back blip from last year, when I first encountered a working system for this purpose (on the Bow River in Calgary).
