Not really. I took this picture on Saturday night when I wound up at guy-friend's place. (Not anything untoward, before you go there ;-)

I had my appointment after school with my thyroid doctor. I saw her a few months ago and I had to decide about how to permanently correct the blasted problem. The medication I take makes your white cells drop, and my results weren't good, so I can't stay on them long term. I've decided to take her advice and go for radioactive iodine therapy. It will probably be timed to coincide with the Easter holidays, as I'll be radioactive(!) and unable to be around growing children. Bit tricky being a teacher then! A friend of mine at work had the same treatment a few years ago under the same doctor, and she's absolutely fine now. She had a couple of weeks off, and when other friends went to see her  for lunch they sat at one end of the room and she at the other ;-)
