Our "new" place visit to Saffron Walden (not quite new but we haven't been there for ages) didn't happen. The weather forecast said no rain but it was pouring so we only went as far as Cambridge. We went looking at the new style light bulbs and wall lights in John Lewis before going for a burger! Ah well we tried and we'll save Saffron Walden for a sunny day.
