Teacher Appreciation Day

So, the school I work for has a really cute tradition: Teacher Appreciation Day, where the kids stay home until 9.30 and the PTA put on a slap-up breakfast for all the staff. Then all the children arrive with a single flower for their teachers to make up a class bouquet. Cute, or what?
 
It makes it a bit of a longer day than usual, to be honest, but it was really good to sit and eat breakfast together, hear the parent choir, and generally have a chilled morning. The kids were really sweet with their flowers too. A happy morning.
