'Stairwell'

A stunning Melbourne day today, pity it was a work day though. Would have been a great day to be out exploring.

I suppose I did have to did a bit of exploring late this afternoon when I visited the old Ernest Jones Hall at La Trobe Uni to do a measure up of the old plant room. This was the view from the plant room landing looking down through the stairwell towards the entry door.

The Building Surveyor wants us to upgrade the access to this Plant Room to current standards, but Heritage Victoria aren't too keen on making any changes to the existing building fabric. We're stuck in the middle just needing an answer....

Had a headache for most of the day too, so it's off to bed for an early night for me.
