Vietnamese cooking class
Today we needed a rainy day activity and we picked the best one! For only $20 each we got a private cooking class for 3 hours. Our teacher first took us the the local market to buy our ingredients fresh! Such an experience, added to be the madness of the Tet holiday in 2 days time with all the locals stocking up on fresh produce! We learnt to cook 5 different things... Steam rice cakes, fresh spring rolls, peanut sauce, fried pancake and beef and noodle soup! Everything made from scratch and so so fresh! The flavours of garlic, chili, fish sauce and coriander are in everything! At the end we got to sit down and eat it all :-) so so yummy!
