Flower Friday - Carnation

Mrs C (aka My Editor-in-Chief) has a bunch of carnations given to her by my brother and sister-in-law when they were visiting about 3 weeks ago. They are surviving amazingly well!

This is one of the blooms, with a bit of faffing in Photoshop to add a textured background derived from an oak table-top. (I'm having a lot of fun experimenting as you will have noticed!)

It's best seen large against black.
