Yellow Crocus

These Yellow Crocus flowers grow on the side of my drive and despite being covered in gravel and driven over for most of the year they have been coming up for as long as I can remember. Once the flowers come out fully the blackbirds peck them which spoils them. I think they are about 3 weeks early this year.
