The Last Latte
FRIDAY
The end of an institution - today was the final day for the Latte Hut in Huddersfield. It's been in King Street for over twelve years and was the only fully open-air cafe in town.
A popular place to sit and watch the world go by, the cafe has been forced to close due to objections to its street licence from a nearby retail development despite a 3,000 name petition calling for the cafe to remain open.
An emotional day for the Joshua Brown and Louise Bonner who served their last ever cappuccinos this afternoon.
