Dazzle Ship

Friday 5th Feb 2016 (1259)

A day out with a friend. It was a grey morning so we went to the Albert Dock in Liverpool. We had a quick walk around the Tate but I'm afraid the art didn't do anything for me. We then had a walk around the dock and along the front. This is the Dazzle ship, an alternative form of camouflage.

We went in search of somewhere for lunch, completing another full circuit of the dock before deciding where to go. Nice relaxed long lunch then we drove to Otterspool to explore, as I hadn't been there before. Unfortunately we arrived just as the rain started so we had a change of plan and decided to go to Speke Hall. Unfortunately that was shut so we just had to go to Dobbies Garden Centre for a hot chocolate!

A lovey day out, good company and a chance for a long chat trying to put the world to rights!
