Disappointment ..

My biggest peeve today isn't so much that the dog woman doesn't want me to have Benji because I'm too far away (I suspected she'd say as much), but that she knew that on Monday when I returned the pre adoption form to her ...  and I only found out this evening because I asked on their Facebook page when I might hear something.

This morning I dropped some more meds into the care home and had a long chat with Pam the owner/manager ..  mum actually looked straight at, or through, me and didn't show a glimmer of recognition - so I decided to leave her to it and headed off, leaving her to her fish and chips.

So here is yet another owl - a short eared - I seem to see little else at the moment!
