The Caldera
We tried another walk off piste today, no footpath to follow at all but not so difficult as our marathon last Saturday once we found the start of the walk. We were following marked tracks on the map on my iPhone as we went in search of the Caldera, a volcanic crater left by the eruptions millions of years ago. It's difficult to gauge it's size in my photo. The tracks are no longer visible as Mother Nature has erased them so we were climbing over and around stone walls made many years. The extra is a threshing circle we passed on the way.
