TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

Lazy morning and then it was off to collect Mum to journey onto Leatherhead for the funeral of dear Doug who was tragically killed in a car crash coming home form work just after Christmas.
Luckily The Rev is a super early bird as they cars got there 20 minutes early!!!
The Rev did well conducting a service for our special friend Jamie (of 37 years!!!) only getting choked twice and was incredibly calm when someone fainted and an ambulance had to be called! Dear Doug hated the limelight and think he was probably grinning that the focus was off him for a moment or two!! As always at these events you still learn facts about the friend you thought you knew.
