Pause

"Maybe we were supposed to go right at that last cactus..." :)

We were not lost - Boone was just pausing. Waiting for me to catch up.
We never get lost.
Except that one time...it was a slot canyon where there was no trail, there were many canyon off shoots, we weren't paying attention, and we could not see over the canyon ridge to get our bearings.
Did I mention that it was Arizona hot?
After about 10 miles we found the car.
And I had to keep that mental promise to go to Church on Sunday. Lol
Complacency can lead to mistakes.
It will never happen again. :)
This week has been a challenge- worked 12-14 hours per day. No time for many Blip comments but I will catch up.
Travel Sunday through Friday next week.
It felt good to get a real hike in today.
