Just A Dusting

That's what the weatherman predicted.  Well it snowed for almost 12 hours though it was a gentle, peaceful snow, but we got about 6".   We "girls" did get out for our lunch date though and my friend Mary and I had another bonus sleepover tonight as she was heading in the same direction as the storm toward the coast of Maine.  So nice to get to spend some extra time together.  She met the whole family for the first time too - a nice evening at home sharing stories. Actually a bit nicer in LARGE.

In the extra photo is a pole that I had hung suet on for the birds, bent to the ground - no suet in sight - not sure what could have done this? Too wintry to be bear I think - possibly coyote?
