Mattress shopping

It turns out that buying a mattress is A) expensive and B) stressful. Probably the less said about it all, the better! We do need a new mattress though, one we can both tolerate.. Would've liked to buy it there and then, to stem the need to go back and look any more, shame we haven't got the space to store it before we need it.. Or the money..

A quick visit to the garden centre in the 30 minutes before it shut saw us come away with about 15 packets of seeds, 3 of which I promptly planted at the allotment - beetroot, purple carrots and spring carrots (which you can plant almost any time) - just before the rain started, again..
