Garden of Eden
We start migrating north now and left Cornwall to take in a sister in Bath and my mother in Cheltenham. En route we visited the Eden project for the first time. The scale of the buildings are impressive and a spectacle in themselves. Interesting inside but visiting the Mediterranean biome didn't feel too special having just been in the Mediterranean and the rain forest is impressive until, if you are lucky enough, you could think back to how the real thing feels.
Some of the large cactus impressed me the most, reflecting I expect the fact I haven't really visited proper desert areas. I imagine on a busy Summer's day it would all have been a bit of a nightmare......
Dinner in Bath is always a civilized affair although the last hour driving on to Cheltenham was pretty grim in driving rain.
