New skill

Tim and I have a new skill to add to our repertoire today - turf laying.
For anyone who remembers the saga of getting rid of the conifer from Becca's garden you can see the stump in the corner.
This lawn is the culmination of a lot of hard work - getting rid of the conifer (although there is still a pile of logs to shift), getting rid of the gravel that was covering the area fairly thickly, digging out roots the size of branches, levelling ......
Thought I might find some treasure while digging but the best I managed were a spoon and a hairbrush! Lots of bricks, some paving stones and bits of glass too.
Off to soak in the bath now!
