..... and then I saw a flash of blue.

Woke up to pouring rain this morning but decided to go out anyway.  Luckily the hide at Moore Nature Reserve has a roof so I was able to keep relatively dry whilst taking shots of the Tufted Ducks (see extra - it shows just how wet it was this morning!). 

 I had decided to call it a day and packed my camera away when I saw a flash of blue and the kingfisher flew into the reeds.  I don't think I have ever moved so fast getting the camera out again!
