A Magpie Saves My Day .

Grey , windy , cold , damp with rain later .The plans I had for night shots of Chinese New Year Decorations have been shelved .A visit to the canal to say hello to the geese was as ever, worthwhile. Then I spotted this Magpie up in a tree. He did swoop down a minute later .
My first thought was to use as an  eblip but then the idea  try a bit of post processing and voila, the result is my offering for today .It looks almost Chinese .
