A Tired Little Bee

Having saved this little critter from being accidently stood on in the garden, I let him (her?) go safely into the shelter of the bushes ...
I do hope that she (he?) had enough energy to fly home after it's rest ... :o/

Note: I have since learned that giving a bee a small sugary water can also help revive them enough to get them back to their hive ... Hopefully this little bee got back under it's own steam, because when I went back later, it had gone ... :o)

Also note: This picture isn't quite as clear as I would have liked, but I was only using one hand ... and Mr (Mrs?) Bee was getting a bit agitated ... :o)
