My Christmas and Birthday present.....

..... from my daughter and son in law!
I'm not really sure whether they intended me to be the victim or not!!!!!!
We left home around 11.20am to get to Farnham Surrey. It should have been very easy to get here, well you would have thought so, but having left the A3 before we needed to, getting mixed up with the traffic in Guildford going round a few roundabouts several times , we eventually arrived in Farnham parked the car and found a lovely quaint coffee shop where we had a toasted sandwich and coffee/tea , very enjoyable too.
The hotel was reached by travelling down a long drive , to a Manor House built in the 1800's for a private family. It has had several owners and in the 2nd WW was used as a nursery school .
Our room was a comfortable on suite, very clean, staff lovely and accommodating.
The evening began in the bar and progressed into the dinning room, here the plot was manifested by a programme on each table where you worked as a team. The scene was a fund raising evening for a swimming pool and gym to be built at Duckham High School ( private ) . Teachers and the PTA were there. During the evening someone was going to be MURDERED!!!!!
We were served with a 3 course meal whilst questioning the staff throughout ! At the end of the evening a conclusion was formed written down and a winner was announced. Even tho' we guested the murder the reason was completely wrong!!! Blame KJD for this!! Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Really it was fun filled enjoyable evening and we've still got sleep and breakfast to go before we wend our way home, and also I'm being entertained to dinner tomorrow by The Rev and KJD
