BROOKFIELD OLD STORE

Brookfield is about a 20 minute drive from our place.  It's a semi-rural area in hilly country where people have acreage and can run a horse or two or perhaps a few cows. This old shop has been the local meeting place for about 130 years.  A delightful place to have afternoon tea. 
Behind me is an old cemetery, but  I was disappointed to find that the most interesting thing was the texture on the rusty iron railings around a grave.[See the extra.]  Unfortunately most of the carving and lettering on the tombstones has been obliterated by exposure to weather and because the stonemasons chose too soft a stone.
