Boss of the bookshop

The day started for me with a dawn shoot before the rain started at 0700. For once the forecasters were very accurate.

After breakfast, we all went on a walk through the wind and rain, stopping to take occasional shots of the turquoise canals. We were heading for this amazing bookshop. Books are piled high and it is hard to see a system. A gondola stands in the centre of one room and books drips over the edges. In the tiny back yard, a staircase of books takes you to a good view of the canal below.

Back at the hotel we did a photo shoot with 5 poseurs. Plan A was to go with them to Burano for the day. We were on Plan B and it went well.

Time now for a post prandial rest, before I head out to see the wet streets before sunset.
