I had to go to the supermarket to buy coriander today, so I went at 8:30am to avoid the Sunday drivers.

I should have gone earlier. It's only 2 miles, but pretty hazardous on Sundays.

The point is (yes, there is one) going out at that time made me realise it was too cold and windy to cycle this morning. It was a bit wet too - nothing dramatic, but in the wind...

So plan B was hatched. Put on about 6 5 4 layers of clothes and walk on the beach for a couple of hours. I drove east to Lower Largo - usually it's drier out that way.

Well, for the first 30 minutes it was just a little unpleasant. Then the rain got heavier. In that wind it was just nasty - stinging my face. So, back to the car.

Thoroughly soaked. Pretty cold. A little fed up too.

A hot shower and a hot tea sorted out the first two. Monday morning to look forward to, so that deals with the 3rd issue.
