Snowdrops

We had a very successful and lovely party for Jessie's 18th and I made a speech which went down well. It was a real pleasure to celebrate her with nineteen guests and we did it in style; such good warm company too, and a lot of fun. Made the lethal error of not drinking much water to rehydrate myself after at least a bottle of red wine and probably a fair bit more...so a good walk in the Great Wood this afternoon was a lifesaver. Now it's a relief to be just sitting on the sofa looking mindlessly at a jug of snowdrops. Early bed tonight!
