Goldfinches

I was happy to see these little birds visit the feeders this morning, the first time for several weeks.   They are such beautiful and colourful little birds and a delight to see.
It's my sons birthday today and we enjoyed a delicious surprise lunch prepared and cooked entirely by my granddaughter.   Needless to say my son was taken completely by surprise, was quite overwhelmed and very proud of her, as indeed we all are.
