Mummy and Monkey Day
Today Will and I were supposed to be in London. He wanted to see the dinosaurs and go to the science museum. The dino gallery is shut for refurbishment and there was supposed to be a tube strike, so on Thursday I vetoed London (then the tube strike was called off, but don't tell Will!).
So I took C to church last night so that we could have a lazy morning. I had snuggles with Will, before he and C played nicely for a long while in her room. Jim took her off to N&P's. Will scooted to the swimming pool. We didn't have a long time there but it was enough, from there we went to Fabio's for waffles and ice-cream as that was Will's treat for turning himself around and doing a week of fab violin practice and then a good lesson too. On to Pots of Art, what he wanted to do instead of London. I then needed to do a couple of jobs in town. He then asked for a new times table book as he finished his last one yesterday (strange child!), so we headed to WHSmiths and one was purchased. Then he chose to have coffee so he could do some of his new maths book! After that we scooted home to watch the second half of the rugby. We were supporting differing teams so a draw seemed to be the right result for the day.
