New Regent Street

Mario & I went to Christchurch today, and while we were there we visited fellow Blipper HPX. 
We also finally got to meet her fur child Benedict - also known as 'The Pope'. He's even more beautiful than in his photos. He was too nervous to let us pet him, but he did come inside for some snacks that Santy Claus brought him.

Later on we went to the mall for some lunch and a look around the shops. Then in to the city for a wander and some photos.

The photo I've chosen for blip is a building in New Regent Street. 
All the buildings look like this one, but in various colours. The street is closed off to traffic, except for the old-fashioned tram that comes by to drop people off so they can enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes that line the street. 

We got home about 7pm, and I whipped up some of my famous-at-our-house boysenberry pies, made with home-made pastry, and fruit from Geraldine.

Yum!
