Day 249: - EB EB

I am a self-titled connoisseur of Eggs Benedict so when we discovered the (old) deli had added the dish to its breakfast menu we had to go and sample it. Nothing else to do on yet another god awful day of wind and rain. We were carrying out a public service. 

It looked good. The eggs were well done but the muffins were dry, the bacon was incinerated  à la North America (most of it now in a certain greyhound) and there was plainly some sort of world shortage of hollandaise. What a disappointment. Still it beats the other local cafe which served me EB with a side of red cabbage......

Serves me right for gluttony.
