Forensic Science and Criminal Justice

It's on days like today that I'm really grateful for the FutureLearn online courses. This week sees the start of 'Forensic Science and Criminal Justice' course. If you like crime mysteries, you'll definitely enjoy this. The first case it looks at is 'The Blazing Car Murder' which happened in 1930. One family were convinced the victim was their relative but revisiting samples taken at the time of the murder enabled DNA testing to eliminate him as the victim and bring the family some comfort. Fascinating stuff for a wet and windy February day.
