Wet and unpleasant day , unless you have feathers.

These wee birds are usually quite timid, unless you have food. 
Maybe this one took pity on me and my camera because it was raining.

I wasnt very happy kneeling in the rain, but the Coot and my camera didn't seem  to mind.
