Snow Drops - the Harbinger of Spring -Mono Monday

There is nothing quite like snowdrops for announcing the transition from Winter to Spring. And these snowdrops are heavy with raindrops which, of course, is a continual process of air transforming into water and then being absorbed into the air again. I found it is very easy to blow the highlights with snowdrops and had to underexpose quite a bit to ensure there was texture in those whites. I did try to incorporate yet another transition from natural light to infra-red but did not feel that the infra-red images had enough tonal variation as the images were almost white on white.
