C'an Pastilla, Mallorca

Our first day in Mallorca, at C'an Pastilla, a small port and former fishing village, on the Palma Bay..........and a walk along the long beach front, where we saw groups of 'para sols' like these, made using reeds.....giving them quite a rustic appearance.
There were very few people on the beach, but there were some enthusiasts on the sea, enjoying surfing and stand up paddle.......later in the afternoon, when the wind was blowing more steadily there were some kite-surfers.......all of whom had wet suits....it'll be deceptively cool on the water!
Clear blue skies and a sunny day ...ideal conditions for walking.
