An abrupt end to our holiday..

It was sunny and warm again as we set off this morning but two runs into our morning, one of my friends fell and broke her arm, close to her shoulder joint.
A French couple kindly stopped to help and rang the ambulance which was a stretcher on a sledge led by a female medic skier. Two guys came with more equipment shortly after. She was in a lot of pain but it wasn't far down the piste to the bottom.
It put a bit of a dampener on our last day but good job it hadn't happened on the first day!
