Storm Imogen
Storm Imogen is currently battering our southern coasts while here on the east coast the land mass of Ireland ensures that ships hugging the coast are safe from harm. I managed only a few photos of white horses spraying the seas as there is no venom in the seas off the Dublin coast.
LÉ Ciara (P42) ( formerly H.M.S. SWALLOW built by the Royal Navy in 1984) is a Peacock-class patrol vessel in the Irish Naval Service and used primarily for fisheries protection. Today was an opportunity to lie off Skerries and wait out the storm as fishing isn't realistic is storm/gale force winds.....just saying
