Faith

The only thing binding us from this life to the angels in the next.

Funny thing about Facebook is that we are connected with the world now - all friends past and present.  Strange (at my age group) how many people post about loosing their parents and continue to post each year and sometimes more often about missing them.  I can understand them, but I have never been that public in my private life - if only through photography.

More rarely, someone from the friends list drops out.

Well, a long lost friend passed away this weekend, but immediately picked up through the friends list on Facebook.  He was younger than me and I guess not as lucky as a lot of us.  I haven't messaged him now for several years.  For some dumb reason, I can't get his passing out of my head.  A dear friend of his had wrote that "his heart gave out".  It has been a long time since I've heard that phrase.  I think true enough though, both literally and figuratively.

I finally found the motivation to ride the bike trainer at lunch for a half hour today.  (a little scared or maybe it was just time in any case...)
