The Mill

HIgh up in Park City Ski Resort , Utah, are the remains of the California-Comstock Mill, revealing something of the history of the mountain.

 Built more than a century ago,  ore-bearing rock entered at the top of the building, and through a series of grinding processes, emerged as smaller pieces, separated into silver ore and worthless tailings.

Today, while on the Keystone Run, we skied by the historic mill.  

Time and weather have taken their toll on the old building.
