Pancake Day

So it's Shrove Tuesday and the local primary school was holding it's annual pancake races in Yarmouth Square this morning. It's great to see everyone having fun and to see the community spirit. The local carnival committee help to organise the races and give commentary. There was an adults race later in the morning, but it was too cold to wait to see it, and I had to be back at work and too many people were asking me to take part so I missed those races.

The children had to run around the man in yellow and back to the line whilst flipping the pancakes. Needless to say lots ended up on the floor, which the dogs watching loved gobbling up ;)
